Yes, Barack Hassan Obama is in fact, a third generation communist. His maternal grandfather moved his family from the Midwest to the Pacific NW so his mother, Stanly Ann, could go to the only communist school in America at the time. Those are the same grandparents that raced him. It’s all actually common knowledge, if you haven’t looked into it yourself, I invite you to do so.

I’m slowly delving through him via the copy of his prison notebooks I have (I’ve got a book with notebooks 6, 7 and 8 in it) which is meant to be the best for talk on hegemony. Apparently there’s a selected works version out there as well, but I’m not sure where I’d say is the best place to start. His work on hegemony is what really interests me, and a lot of his notebooks aren’t yet translated.
