the neocons were all for military intervention in Venezuala, but for the rest of the establishment hates the idea because it’s batshit insane. It won’t ever happen unless the US elects a nutjob like Bachmann or Perry, so vote Obama kids.
I don’t think it would be as simple as getting a neocon elected for the US to be motivated towards a new war. There’d need to be some sort of media scare and build up towards it. Perhaps I don’t notice such a build because I’m on the other side of the pond?
