The great thing about waking up at 8 in the morning is that days are actually really long. So this morning I went for a long walk into the city centre and ended up at the library where I read a book about Bristol’s old trams and it got me thinking.
“What if they’d never pulled up all the tracks and replaced the trams with buses?”
Well this is the answer to that. If all the trams from the 30s were still running a modern map would look like this. I’m going to do one later with all the extensions to modern places like Cribb’s Causeway, Avonmouth and Withywood.
