No matter what your gender identity is, I might add. Even cisgender gay men are shaving it all off these days- which is FINE, if that is how you feel. But I personally like pits with hair- LOTS of hair.
^ I don’t fuck dolphins. I fuck primates. Give me some hair.
Hairy pits, shaven pits … in the grand scheme of things neither way really matters. But if you do shave your pits do it because you personally want to, not because society is telling you that part of your body is in some way disgusting or unacceptable.
Because you know what? We all have it (well, most of us anyway). And that’s fine; be happy with who you are and be the best you you can be. Don’t buy into the con that through some fatuous culturing of your body will cause some aspect of your character to be changed or improved, and don’t buy into the con that to be accepted you have to spend countless hours of your life changing yourself to fit into some abstract mould.
If people are unable to accept you for who you are, what you can do and what you can become based upon the premise that you do or don’t have a bit of hair somewhere, it’s a pretty sure sign that they’re not the sort of people worth spending a lot of time around.
